Thought of the Day

So I stumbled across this online and I laughed at how accurate this is:

“It’s really strange to think that we’re all just background characters in other people’s lives, someone they walk past while rushing to be somewhere or bump into on their way to get coffee and these people all have their own problems and insecurities and lives and we’re not part of them. I just think about that a lot.”

This made me think about the guy that bumped into me as I bought my morning coffee. He seemed to be in such a rush and just sped off in his car. I know I’ve thought about this before, but I never actually focused much thought into how minimal our lives are in the grand scope of things in the world.

Potential Vegas Trip

I am in dire need of a small getaway and Vegas seems to be the perfect place to go. A lot has happened recently in my life and I just need to get out of this city for a bit, cut loose and have some fun.

Luckily some friends I spoke with feel that Vegas would be something they would love to do too, so hopefully within the next month or so I shall head be heading out to Sin City! If planned correctly, I can have a weekend outing somewhat similar to the one I had with my coworkers. That last Vegas outing was a blast!

I should most likely take a large role in planning it, cos otherwise it may end up being something that just slips through the cracks and may never end up happening.

Looks like I have some work to do!
