Gut Instinct
Posted by CharliePrime
My last post was dedicated to taking things at face value. Well that shit just flew out the window when I was placed in a situation of seeing my last fling at a bar on a date, and being a bit too boozed up to think clearly. It’s so stupid. I don’t know why I half converted into a teenage girl and we both played the “I saw you and you saw me” game, but neither one of us would initiate the first move in starting a conversation. I could be wrong and he probably wanted to just ignore me or didn’t think of me at all, but I don’t think so…..
I should have gone with my gut instinct. It told me to just go up and say, “hey! How are you? Hope everything has been good. Just wanted to stop ya to say hi. Enjoy the rest of your night.” But nope, that didn’t happen.
What’s done is done. You live and you learn. Next time regardless of what happens, I will trust my gut and do what it tells me.
Last Minute Vegas Trip
Posted by CharliePrime
Jessica asked if I was up for going to Vegas about 3 days before the planned takeoff date. It was Valentine’s Day weekend, and it’s not like I had any plans, so of course I said yes.
We booked a room, rented a car and we’re off on Friday evening. It took us about 5 hours to get there due to some very bad traffic, but we made it and started drinking right away. Breakfast at like 5am, then bed, then up to drinking and a buffet before more drinking and then Tao nightclub.
Tao was a blast because I met Jamie, who took us to his private VIP booth and offered us all as much of the bottle service as we wanted. I can’t complain about the night cos I ended up meeting some cool new people.
Bday Shenanigans

Ended up celebrating my bday at The Monty in DTLA. Not much to say to describe the outing, but here is photographic evidence of the nights debauchery:
The hangover, luckily, wasn’t too bad. Although I was told that I threatened people. In my defense it was more of a warning to make sure my friend got home in one piece. Next year is a big one…. Gonna have to top every year I’ve celebrated thus far.
